CINCINNATI, OH — Today, Conroy for Congress released the following statement after Greg Landsman’s latest bald-faced lie to voters about his stock-trading corruption. In a recent interview with WCPO9, Landsman says, “Yeah, I sold my stocks…I put my money where my mouth is.” But he doesn’t remotely tell the full story.
The Truth:
Tripling his net worth: Landsman’s first personal financial disclosure filed April 5, 2022, listed six stock holdings worth 90,000 – 300,000 in related income. On January 24, 2025, nearly 3 years later, and four months after trading first drew coverage. He filed an amended 2022 Personal Financial Disclosure listing 56 holdings worth $ 466,052- $1.8 million. The top of his disclosed range grew by roughly $1.5 million.
Landsman also opened his general election with a TV ad claiming he’s outraged by congressional stock trading and got rid of his stocks. His own filings with the House Clerk tell a different story, and most of that paper trail hasn’t been reported.
The Truth:
87 late transactions. His August 2024 periodic transaction report covered 91 trades. 87 of those trades fell outside the required 45-day window and covered more than $1.4 million. Craig Holman of Public Citizen called it a STOCK Act violation. Todd Zinser, the former Commerce Department Inspector General, filed an ethics complaint. Landsman said it was a mistake and that he doesn’t handle his own trades.
On May 13, 2025, Landsman issued a release: “Landsman complies with The TRUST In Congress Act before it becomes law.”
The Truth:
The day of both a victory lap and the violation: The same day he filed a PTR disclosing an Exxon Mobil transaction 327 days past the deadline – a second STOCK Act violation- filed the day he declared himself clean.
Greg Landsman claims to be an ethics warrior, but he is really the worst of Washington: corrupt and dishonest.
The Truth:
On July 22, 2026, Landsman voted “Nay” on the “Stop Insider Trading Act.”
“Greg Landsman continues to display a total arrogance and contempt for the voters he represents. He claims that he is cleaning up stock trading corruption, but only after he tripled his net worth in office. This corrupt liar has no place representing the people of Southwest Ohio.” – Collin Wojcik, Campaign Manager, Conroy for Congress.
