CINCINNATI, OH — Eric Conroy, Republican candidate for Ohio’s 1st Congressional District, today announced the endorsement of U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno. Senator Moreno announced his endorsement of Conroy’s candidacy earlier today on The Bill Cunningham Show.

“Eric Conroy is an outsider and a true America First warrior who will fight against the D.C. swamp day in and day out to enact President Trump’s agenda,” said U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno. “That’s why I’m proud to give him my full endorsement. Eric bravely answered the call to serve our country, and I am confident he is the leader that Southwest Ohio deserves.”

He knows what it takes to fight the establishment, take on the radical left, and win. He showed Ohio how it’s done in 2024, and I’m ready to bring that same fighting spirit to Congress. I’ll put in the work to defeat far-left Rep. Greg Landsman and be a House ally to President Trump and Senator Moreno.”

Senator Moreno’s endorsement adds significant momentum to a campaign that has already established itself as the clear frontrunner for the nomination in OH-01. Conroy outraised his closest opponent 4-to-1 last quarter and outraised him 2-to-1 overall since entering the race, demonstrating broad grassroots and donor support.
