Press Release: Posterboy for Corruption Greg Landsman Hid $1.5 Million in Stocks While Posing as Ethics Crusader

CINCINNATI, OH — A new report from Washington Free Beacon revealed that Greg Landsman failed to disclose up to $1.5 million in stock holdings during his first run for Congress and did not correct the record until nearly three years later. Per the report, when Landsman first ran for Congress in 2022, he reported just six stock holdings worth between $90,000 and $300,000. His amended disclosure, filed almost three years after the original, shows he actually held 54 stock positions worth as much as $1.5 million, generating stock income at least 18 times higher than originally disclosed. His net worth rose to as much as $3.5 million, tripling what it was before he entered office less than 4 years ago.

This is not the first time Landsman’s financial hypocrisy has been exposed. In 2024, Landsman was busted for failing to report more than 87 stock transactions within the legally required window, violating the STOCK Act.

The report comes on the heels of Landsman’s recent TV ad on ‘fighting corruption’ where he says, “No member of Congress should trade stocks. So I led by example and got rid of my stocks”

“The hypocrisy and arrogance of Greg Landsman know no bounds. He has run his campaign talking about stopping corruption and claiming he is leading the charge to end congressional stock trading, while covering up his own stock trading and voting against legislation to stop the corrupt practice. Landsman promises that he will clean up Washington, but in less than 4 years in Washington, he has become a corrupt politician entrenched in the swamp,” Conroy said.  “When you run ads blatantly lying to voters, it shows not only dishonesty but total contempt for the people you represent. This district and its voters deserve a representative who’s honest with them, not one who lies to them while lining his own pockets.”
