Safe Neighborhoods

Greg Landsman’s record on public safety raises serious red flags.  In 2020, as a Cincinnati City Council member, he joined the defund-the-police extremists and proposed reallocating hundreds of thousands from the police budget during a period of rising violent crime.  Worse, Landsman has advocated for policies like ending cash bail, which would put dangerous, violent criminals back on Cincinnati’s streets and lead to the horrific acts of violence we see on the streets of cities like New York from repeat offenders. 

Eric Conroy is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of Ohio’s First Congressional District.  He supports critical funding for law enforcement and equipping officers with the necessary resources and training to serve safely and effectively.  Eric opposes any measures that would cut funding or weaken police authority.  He also supports policies that hold repeat offenders accountable and prevent dangerous individuals from being released back into the community.  By prioritizing public safety and backing law enforcement, Eric aims to build safer neighborhoods for all residents.
