Donate to Eric Conroy for Congress
Every mission starts for a reason—and for Eric Conroy, it began right here in Cincinnati. Raised on the West Side in a proud, four-generation blue-collar family, Eric learned early what hard work means. His parents’ grit and sacrifice taught him perseverance. And from his grandfather, a decorated World War II veteran, Eric learned that service is bigger than self.
When the Twin Towers fell on 9/11 and American troops deployed overseas, Eric knew his mission. After graduating from Elder High School, Eric answered the call to serve, attending the Air Force Academy in Colorado and serving as an intelligence officer overseas, which included two years in Okinawa, Japan, and several years in Washington, D.C. In the Air Force, Eric rose to the rank of Captain, leading intelligence operations for elite Special Operations forces and shaping long-term strategic planning across multiple commands.
After the Air Force, Eric joined the Central Intelligence Agency. In the CIA’s Directorate of Operations, Eric served as a Case Officer, the Agency’s most prestigious role, and managed clandestine operations in war zones and across Europe, including multi-year postings in Afghanistan, Poland, and Iraq. During his time overseas, Eric built critical international alliances and briefed top U.S. leaders on national security issues. For over a decade, Eric led high-risk operations in some of the world’s most dangerous regions—missions that didn’t make headlines, but helped keep Americans safe.
Eric’s missions have taken him far from home, but his heart never left Cincinnati. Now, he’s ready to take that mission to Congress and fight for working families, to revitalize Main Street, and to keep our communities safe. Eric will fight to ensure the American Dream remains attainable for future generations.
Eric is a distinguished graduate of the US Air Force Academy and holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University in New York, where he specialized in Midwest economic development.
