National Defense

As a veteran and former CIA officer, Eric believes that a strong national defense is crucial for maintaining peace, safeguarding American interests, and deterring adversaries.  He supports strengthening the U.S. military to ensure it remains the most advanced and capable force in the world, prepared to face 21st-century threats from China, Russia, Iran, and terrorist groups.  Eric will fight for investment in drones, autonomous vehicles, cybersecurity, ships, submarines, and new technologies to ensure that our troops have the necessary equipment, training, and support.  He also backs strengthening our defense industrial base to reduce reliance on adversaries like China.

Eric strongly supports the U.S.-Israel relationship and Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorism and threats to its existence.  He supports continued military aid to Israel and efforts to build regional partnerships that foster peace and security in the Middle East.  Eric supports President Trump’s efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East and prevent Iran from ever obtaining a nuclear weapon.  He opposes attempts to condition aid or compromise Israel’s sovereignty, and he will stand against increasing antisemitism both at home and abroad.  In Congress, Eric will be a dependable voice for peace through strength and a steadfast ally of Israel and America’s national security.
