Small Business

Eric Conroy understands that small businesses are the engine of Ohio’s economy.  As a supporter of local entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses, Eric is dedicated to cutting red tape and removing burdensome regulations that hinder growth, as well as working to lower the cost of health insurance for small businesses.  Eric supports simplifying the tax code, increasing access to affordable capital, and reducing compliance costs to enable small businesses to focus on what they do best: creating jobs. 

Eric also supports fair trade policies that prioritize American manufacturers and small suppliers, rather than leaving them at the mercy of foreign competitors or large corporate monopolies.  Eric supports Buy American policies to support small businesses.  He’ll fight for workforce development programs that connect small businesses with the skilled employees they need, and he’ll oppose mandates from Washington that drive up costs and give Big Business the upper hand.  Eric believes in empowering Main Street, not Wall Street, and he’ll ensure that small business owners have a voice in Congress to advocate for their interests.
