Education

Eric Conroy believes that every child should have the opportunity to get a great education, regardless of their race, parents’ income, or zip code.  He will advocate for reducing federal bureaucracy and returning more funding to states and local school districts.  Eric supports policies that empower parents and local communities to have a greater say in their children’s education. 

Recognizing the importance of preparing students for today’s workforce, Eric supports expanding vocational and technical education programs in high schools.  He also believes schools are failing badly to teach students the basics required to be a responsible citizen, including the importance of financial literacy and civics education.
