Trump Calls Conroy ‘One of the Strongest Republican Candidates’. Conroy Pledges to Restore Common Sense Leadership to Southwest Ohio

CINCINNATI, OH — Today, President Donald J. Trump endorsed Eric Conroy, Republican candidate for Ohio’s 1st Congressional District, ahead of the May 5th Republican Primary:

President Trump endorsed Conroy a former CIA Case Officer and U.S. Air Force intelligence officer, on Truth Social, citing his strength as a candidate and drawing a sharp contrast with incumbent Democrat Greg Landsman, whom the President called a “Radical Left Extremist” who does not represent the values of Southwest Ohio and the Great City of Cincinnati.

“I am honored to have President Trump’s endorsement.  The President fights every day for the forgotten men and women of this country, and I will do exactly that every day in Congress for the commonsense, hardworking people of southwest Ohio,” Conroy said.

Conroy wasted no time pivoting to the general election fight ahead, drawing a clear contrast with Congressman Greg Landsman.

“Greg Landsman voted against the largest tax cut in American history, he wants to defund ICE, supported defunding the police, and voted to allow transgender men to compete in girls’ sports. Landsman’s radical agenda is out of touch with Southwest Ohio,” Conroy added.

Unlike career politicians, Conroy brings a proven record of service to the country as a CIA Case Officer and Air Force intelligence officer — not a record of serving himself and liberal billionaires in California and New York.

With President Trump’s endorsement behind him, Conroy is positioned to win the Republican primary and defeat Greg Landsman in November.
